Acupuncture helped Tahnee in her own personal healing journey where Western medicine felt limitating.
She started treatments with an acupuncturist in Richmond Virginia for a torn meniscus and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome symptoms. Having such a profound healing response in her early 20s, she knew she had to go to school to learn more about Eastern Medicine.
She relocated from central Virginia to NWI to attend school at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in downtown Chicago, where she received her Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduating, she worked in Chicago for a few years out of a facility where she had interned through school. She is grateful to have relocated to a clinic much closer to home.
Her goal in this field is to help others along their health journey by tapping into the body's innate healing abilities to achieve a state of well-being. With the mindset of food is medicine, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with food. In her free time she likes to be outdoors, go hiking, travel, FaceTime and play video games with her nephew.
