Jason A. Wilson, M.S.O.M., L.Ac. While practicing Taekwondo as a young boy, Jason became intrigued by the concept of 'QI' and began looking into Asian Medicine. The more he researched, the more he was convinced that the practice of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine was his calling. Little opportunity was possible at that time to make a career out of Asian Medicine, however.
Jason enrolled in Purdue Calumet University in 1992 and earned an Associates degree in Psychology but never could give up his ambition to become an Acupuncturist. He researched different paths of medicine and even worked with Medical Doctors as a pharmaceutical sales rep. All of his efforts still led back to his heart's desire to become a Doctor of Natural Medicine.
Jason graduated from The Midwest College or Oriental Medicine in 2007 with a B.S. in Nutrition, and a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine which includes full Chinese Herbal training. He began practicing immediately. Never finished learning, he has added many certificates since, including a yearlong program in Medical Qigong. He is also currently studying for the Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Jason spends most of his free time with his wife, Supannika, their daughter, Jayda, and their cat, Douggie. He also enjoys camping, playing the tenor guitar, studying martial arts, practicing yoga, performing tai chi/qigong, watching sports, and practicing spirituality.
